Me dijo: —Hijo de hombre, ponte de pie y hablaré contigo.

Después de hablarme, entró el espíritu en mí y me hizo ponerme de pie, y oí al que me hablaba.

Me dijo: —Hijo de hombre, yo te envío a los hijos de Israel, a una nación de rebeldes que se rebelaron contra mí; ellos y sus padres se han rebelado contra mí hasta este mismo día.

Yo te envío a gentes de rostro endurecido y de empedernido corazón, y les dirás: «Así ha dicho el Señor».

Acaso ellos escuchen; pero si no escuchan, porque son una nación de rebeldes, siempre sabrán que ha habido un profeta entre ellos.

Pero tú, hijo de hombre, no les temas ni tengas miedo de sus palabras. Aunque te encuentras entre zarzas y espinos, y habitas con escorpiones, no tengas miedo de sus palabras, ni temas delante de ellos, porque son una nación de rebeldes.

Les transmitirás mis palabras, escuchen o no escuchen, pues son gente rebelde.
8
Pero tú, hijo de hombre, escucha lo que te digo; no seas rebelde, como la nación de rebeldes; abre tu boca, y come lo que te doy.
9
Y vi una mano extendida hacia mí, y en ella había un libro enrollado.
10
Lo desplegó delante de mí, y estaba escrito por delante y por detrás; y había en él cantos fúnebres, gemidos y ayes.
