Me dijo otra vez el Señor: —Ve y ama a una mujer amada de su compañero, pero adúltera; así ama el Señor a los hijos de Israel, aunque ellos se vuelven a dioses ajenos y les gustan las tortas de pasas.

Le dije: —Tú serás mía durante muchos días; no fornicarás ni te entregarás a otro hombre, y yo haré lo mismo contigo.

Porque muchos días estarán los hijos de Israel sin rey, sin príncipe, sin sacrificio, sin estatua, sin efod y sin terafines.

Después de eso los hijos de Israel se volverán a buscar al Señor, su Dios, y a David, su rey; y temerán al Señor y a su bondad al fin de los días.
