Las sombras tiemblan en lo profundo, se espantan el mar y sus moradores.

El seol está descubierto delante de él, y el Abadón no tiene cobertura.

Él extiende el Norte sobre el vacío, cuelga la tierra sobre la nada.

Encierra las aguas en sus nubes, y las nubes no se rompen bajo su peso.
9
Él encubre la faz de su trono y sobre él extiende su nube.
10
Ha puesto límite a la superficie de las aguas, hasta el confín de la luz y las tinieblas.

A su reprensión, las columnas del cielo tiemblan y se espantan.

Él agita el mar con su poder y con su entendimiento lo hiere en su arrogancia.

Su espíritu adorna los cielos; su mano traspasó a la serpiente tortuosa.

¡Y estas cosas no son más que los bordes de su camino, apenas el leve susurro que oímos de él! Pero el trueno de su poder, ¿quién podrá comprenderlo?
