¡Alabad el nombre del Señor! Alabadlo, siervos del Señor,
2
los que estáis en la casa del Señor, en los atrios de la casa de nuestro Dios.
3
Alabad al Señor, porque él es bueno; cantad salmos a su nombre, porque él es benigno,
4
porque el Señor ha escogido a Jacob para sí, a Israel por posesión suya.
5
Yo sé, ciertamente, que el Señor es grande, y el Señor nuestro, mayor que todos los dioses.
6
Todo lo que el Señor quiere, lo hace, en los cielos y en la tierra, en los mares y en todos los abismos.
7
Hace subir las nubes de los extremos de la tierra; hace los relámpagos para la lluvia; saca de sus depósitos los vientos.
8
Él es quien hizo morir a los primogénitos de Egipto, desde el hombre hasta la bestia.
9
Envió señales y prodigios en medio de ti, Egipto, contra Faraón y contra todos sus siervos.
10
Destruyó a muchas naciones y mató a reyes poderosos:
11
A Sehón, rey amorreo, a Og, rey de Basán, y a todos los reyes de Canaán.
12
Y dio la tierra de ellos en heredad, en heredad a Israel su pueblo.
13
¡Señor, eterno es tu nombre; tu memoria, Señor, de generación en generación!
14
El Señor juzgará a su pueblo y se compadecerá de sus siervos.
15
Los ídolos de las naciones son plata y oro, obra de manos de hombres.
16
Tienen boca y no hablan; tienen ojos y no ven;
17
tienen orejas y no oyen; tampoco hay aliento en sus bocas.
18
Semejantes a ellos son los que los hacen y todos los que en ellos confían.
19
Casa de Israel, ¡bendecid al Señor! Casa de Aarón, ¡bendecid al Señor!
20
Casa de Leví, ¡bendecid al Señor! Los que teméis al Señor, ¡bendecid al Señor!
21
Desde Sion sea bendecido el Señor, que mora en Jerusalén. ¡Aleluya!
