¡Dios, no guardes silencio! ¡No calles, Dios, ni te estés quieto!,
2
porque rugen tus enemigos y los que te aborrecen alzan la cabeza.
3
Contra tu pueblo han consultado astuta y secretamente, y han entrado en consejo contra tus protegidos.
4
Han dicho: «Venid y destruyámoslos, para que no sean nación y no haya más memoria del nombre de Israel.»
5
A una se confabulan de corazón. Contra ti han hecho alianza
6
las tiendas de los edomitas y de los ismaelitas, Moab y los agarenos,
7
Gebal, Amón y Amalec, los filisteos y los habitantes de Tiro.
8
También el asirio se ha juntado con ellos; sirven de brazo a los hijos de Lot.
9
Hazles como a Madián, como a Sísara, como a Jabín en el arroyo Cisón,
10
que perecieron en Endor: fueron convertidos en estiércol para la tierra.
11
Pon a sus capitanes como a Oreb y a Zeeb; como a Zeba y a Zalmuna a todos sus príncipes,
12
que han dicho: «¡Hagamos nuestras las moradas de Dios!»
13
Dios mío, ponlos como torbellinos, como hojarascas delante del viento,
14
como fuego que quema el monte, como llama que abrasa el bosque.
15
Persíguelos así con tu tempestad y atérralos con tu huracán.
16
Llena sus rostros de vergüenza, y busquen tu nombre, Jehová.
17
Sean confundidos y turbados para siempre; sean deshonrados y perezcan.
18
Y conozcan que tu nombre es Jehová; ¡solo tú, el Altísimo sobre toda la tierra!
