¿Qué significa esto?
In Luke 21:6, Jesus is speaking and says that the temple buildings will one day be completely destroyed, with no stone left standing on top of another. This prediction was fulfilled when the Romans destroyed Jerusalem in AD 70.
Explicado para niños
Imagine you have a beautiful Lego castle, but someone comes along and knocks it all down so there's nothing left standing up. That's what Jesus is saying will happen to this big temple building one day.
Contexto histórico
Luke, a doctor and historian, wrote the Gospel of Luke around AD 60-80 for non-Jewish Christians. This event was set in Jerusalem during Jesus' final week before His crucifixion, when He was teaching about end times and the future destruction of the temple.
Aplicación para hoy
This verse reminds us that all things are temporary. For instance, if you own a house or car, remember to focus on eternal values rather than material possessions that can be destroyed someday.
