In this verse from Revelation, the martyrs who were killed for their faith are given white robes and told to wait a little longer until all their fellow servants and brothers who will suffer as they did have also been martyred.

Contexto histórico
The Book of Revelation was written by John, one of Jesus' disciples, around 95 AD. It was directed at seven churches in Asia Minor (modern-day Turkey) and reflects a time when Christians were persecuted for their beliefs under Roman rule.
