Louange, de David. Je proclamerai ta grandeur, mon Dieu, mon roi, et je bénirai ton nom pour toujours et à perpétuité.

Chaque jour je te bénirai, et je célébrerai ton nom pour toujours et à perpétuité.

L’Eternel est grand et digne de recevoir toute louange, sa grandeur est insondable.

Que chaque génération célèbre tes œuvres et proclame ton extraordinaire façon d’agir!

Je dirai la splendeur glorieuse de ta majesté, je chanterai tes merveilles.

On parlera de ta puissance redoutable et je raconterai ta grandeur.

On proclamera le souvenir de ton immense bonté, on célébrera ta justice.
8
L’Eternel fait grâce, il est rempli de compassion, il est lent à la colère et plein de bonté.

L’Eternel est bon envers tous, sa compassion s’étend à toutes ses œuvres.
10
Toutes tes œuvres te loueront, Eternel, et tes fidèles te béniront;
11
ils diront la gloire de ton règne, ils proclameront ta puissance,
12
pour faire connaître aux hommes ta puissance et la splendeur glorieuse de ton règne.
13
Ton règne est un règne éternel, et ta domination subsiste dans toutes les générations.
14
L’Eternel soutient tous ceux qui tombent, il redresse tous ceux qui sont courbés.
15
Tous regardent avec espoir vers toi, et tu leur donnes la nourriture au moment voulu.
16
Tu ouvres ta main et tu combles de biens tout ce qui vit.
17
L’Eternel est juste dans toutes ses voies et bon dans toutes ses œuvres.
18
L’Eternel est près de tous ceux qui font appel à lui, de tous ceux qui font appel à lui avec sincérité.
19
Il accomplit les désirs de ceux qui le craignent, il entend leur cri et les sauve.
20
L’Eternel garde tous ceux qui l’aiment, mais il détruira tous les méchants.
21
Que ma bouche dise la louange de l’Eternel et que toute créature bénisse son saint nom, pour toujours et à perpétuité!
