Mazmur Daud. -- Bahwa aku hendak memuji akan Dikau dengan segenap hatiku, dan di hadapan segala dewata aku hendak menyanyikan mazmur bagi-Mu.

Maka sujudlah aku di hadapan maligai kesucian-Mu sambil memuji nama-Mu, karena sebab kemurahan-Mu dan kebenaran-Mu; karena lebih dari pada segala kepujian-Mu Engkau telah membesarkan firman-Mu.
3
Pada masa aku berseru Engkau telah mendengar akan daku, dan Engkau telah mempertetapkan hatiku dengan kuat.
4
Segala raja di bumi kelak memuji akan Dikau, ya Tuhan! apabila didengarnya akan bunyi firman-Mu.
5
Dan mereka itu kelak menyanyi akan peri segala jalan Tuhan karena besarlah kemuliaan Tuhan.

Karena sungguhpun Tuhan amat tinggi, maka ditilik-Nya juga akan segala yang rendah-rendah; sungguhpun besar Ia, maka diketahui-Nya juga akan segala yang jauh dari pada-Nya.
7
Tatkala aku berjalan di tengah-tengah kepicikan, maka Engkau telah menghidupi aku, tangan-Mu telah menahankan amarah seteruku dan tangan-Mu kananpun telah memeliharakan daku.
8
Bahwa Tuhan juga akan menyelesaikannya bagiku! kemurahan-Mu, ya Tuhan! adalah sampai selama-lamanya; jangan apalah Engkau meninggalkan perbuatan tangan-Mu.
