Slik er det også forskjell på de kroppene vi skal ha i Himmelen, og de kroppene vi har her på jorden. De himmelske kroppene har sin egen skjønnhet, og de jordiske har en annen skjønnhet. Slik det er én glans fra solen, en annen glans fra månen og en annen glans fra stjernene – ja, til og med stjernene skiller seg fra hverandre med ulik glans – slik er det også med de dødes oppstandelse. Kroppene er først dødelige, men etter døden blir de reist opp til udødelighet. Kroppen dør etter et liv i fristelser og synd, men blir reist opp i herlighet. Det som egentlig var svakt, blir reist opp i kraft.
