Men jeg så ikke noe tempel i byen, for Herren Gud Den allmektige og Lammet er byens tempel. Byen har ikke bruk for sol eller måne, for byen ble opplyst av Guds herlighet. Lammet er dens lys, og de frelste skal leve i dette lyset. Byens porter skal alltid være åpne og ikke stenges ved dagens slutt, for natt vil ikke finnes mer.
