Da så jeg – og hørte stemmene til mange engler rundt tronen sammen med de levende vesenene og de eldste. Det var tusener på tusener, så enormt mange at de ikke kunne telles. Og sammen ropte de med høy røst: «Verdig er Lammet som ble slaktet, til å få makt og rikdom, visdom og styrke, ære og pris og velsignelse!» Så hørte jeg alle skapninger både i Himmelen, på jorden og de som tidligere hadde dødd på jorden og på havet, ja, alle hørte jeg si: «Velsignelsen, æren, prisen og makten tilhører Ham som sitter på tronen – og Lammet – i all evighet!» Og de fire levende vesenene svarte: «Amen!» Og de 24 eldste falt ned og tilba Ham som lever i all evighet.
