Объяснение для детей
Imagine you promised your friend to build a treehouse together but kept saying, 'Not now, maybe later.' Your friend finally asks why you're waiting so long when you could start today. That's kind of what God is asking His people here—he wants them to stop waiting and get started on building the temple.
Исторический контекст
Haggai wrote this book around 520 BC, after many Jews had returned from Babylonian exile but before they completed rebuilding Jerusalem's temple. The Lord uses Haggai to encourage these discouraged people to rebuild His house.

Just like the Israelites, we often delay important tasks because we believe it’s not yet the right time. Whether it's starting a new project or making a significant change in our lives, God reminds us that now is always a good time to act on His will and His purposes.
