Dawudyň mezmury. [1] Meniň ellerime uruşmagy, barmaklaryma söweşmegi öwredýän gaýam Rebbe alkyşlar bolsun!

Ol meniň sadyk söýgimdir, meniň galam, berkitmäm, Halasgärimdir, meniň galkanym, Penakärimdir. Ol halklary maňa tabyn edýändir.

Ýa Reb, ynsan kimmişin, Sen onuň aladasyny ederiň ýaly? Ynsan ogly kimmişin, Sen onuň pikirini ederiň ýaly?

Ynsan bir dem kimindir, onuň ömri geçip barýan kölege deýdir.

Ýa Reb, Öz gökleriňi ýar we aşaga in, daglara el degir, goý, tütesinler!

Ýyldyrymlar çakdyr, pytrat olary, peýkamlaryňy ýagdyr, dargat olary!

Beýiklikden uzat eliňi, haýbatly suwlardan, kesekilerden azat et, halas et meni.

Olaryň agzy ýalan sözleýär, olar ýalan kasam üçin sag elini galdyrýar.

Eý, Hudaý, Saňa täze nagma aýdaryn, on kirişli guralda Saňa mukam çalaryn.

Sensiň şalara ýeňişler berýän, bendäň Dawudy zalym gylyçdan azat eýleýän.

Meni azat et, kesekileriň elinden halas et meni. Olaryň agzy ýalan sözleýär, ýalan kasam üçin olar sag elini galdyrýar.

Ogullarymyz ýaş çagynda, ösümlik deý pajarlap össün. Gyzlarymyz köşgüň haşamlanan sütünleri deý bolsun.

Ammarlarymyz dürli azyk-owkatlardan, goý, dolup-daşsyn. Goýunlarymyz örülerde müňlerçe, on müňlerçe bolup örňesin.

Sygyrlarymyzyň höwri köp bolsun, duşman gala diwaryny, goý, böwüsmesin; olar bizi ýesirlige almasyn, köçelerimizde ahy-nalyş bolmasyn!

Şeýle ýalkanan halk nähili bagtly! Hudaýy Reb bolan halk nähili bagtly!
