我且看見坐寶座的右手中有書卷，內外都寫着字，用七印封嚴了。
2
我又看見一位大力的天使大聲宣傳說：有誰配展開那書卷，且啟開它的七印呢？
3
但是在天上與地上並地底下沒有能展開能觀看那書卷的。
4
因為沒有尋得一位配展開那書卷或觀看它的，我就大哭。
5
但長老中有一位對我說：不要哭！看哪！猶大支派中的獅子，大衛的根，已經得勝了；祂能以展開那書卷並啟開它的七印。○
6
我又看見寶座與四活物並長老之中有羔羊站立，像是被殺過的，有七角七眼，就是神的七靈，奉差遣往全地去。
7
於是祂前來，就從那坐在寶座上的右手裏取了書卷。
8
當祂取了書卷的時候，四個活物和二十四位長老就俯伏在羔羊面前，各拿着琴，和盛滿了香料的金爐，就是眾聖徒的祈禱。
9
他們就唱新歌說：你配取書卷，配啟開它的七印，因為你曾被殺，又用你自己的血從各族，各方，各民，各國買了人來歸於神；
10
並叫他們成為國度為君王和祭司歸於我們的神，在地上執掌王權。
11
我又看見，且聽見，寶座與活物並長老的周圍有許多天使的聲音，他們的數目是萬萬千千，
12
大聲說：被殺的羔羊是配得權柄，豐富，智慧，能力，尊貴，榮耀，頌讚的。
13
我又聽見，在天上，地上，地底下，滄海裏，並其中一切所造之物都說：但願頌讚，尊貴，榮耀，權勢歸於那坐寶座的和羔羊直到永永遠遠！
14
那四個活物就說：阿們！眾長老也俯伏敬拜。
