你們要感謝上主，宣揚他的偉大； 要向萬國述說他的作為。

你們要歌唱頌讚他； 要述說他所做奇妙的事。
3
你們要榮耀他的聖名； 願所有尋求上主的人都歡樂。

要向上主求幫助； 要時常敬拜他。
5
上帝的僕人 亞伯拉罕 的後裔啊， 他所揀選 雅各 的子孫哪， 你們要記住他奇妙的作為， 要記得他所施行的審判。
7
他是上主，是我們的上帝； 他的權威遍及全地。
8
他要永遠信守他的約； 他的應許達到千代。
9
他要信守與 亞伯拉罕 所立的約， 守住向 以撒 所發的誓。
10
上主和 雅各 定永久的條例， 和 以色列 立永久的約。
11
他說：我要把 迦南 地賜給你， 作為你自己的產業。
12
當時，上帝子民的人數有限， 在 迦南 地寄居。
13
他們從一地漂流到另一地， 從一國流浪到另一國。
14
但上帝不容許任何人欺負他們； 為了他們的緣故他警告君王。
15
他說：不可為難我揀選的僕人； 不要傷害我的先知。
16
上主使他們的國家遭遇饑荒， 斷絕了他們的糧食。
17
但他差遣 約瑟 替他們先作準備； 約瑟 被賣為奴。
18
他的雙腳被腳鐐扣著， 脖子帶著鐵的枷鎖，
19
直到他所預言的事實現。 上主的話證明了他的真實。
20
於是 埃及 王下令恢復他的自由； 統治列國的王把他釋放了，
21
委派他掌管政府事務， 讓他治理全國，
22
給他管轄大臣， 賜他指導元老的權力。
23
後來 雅各 到了 埃及 ， 寄居在那地方。
24
上主使他的子民人口增多， 使他們比仇敵強盛。
25
他使 埃及 人厭恨他的子民， 用詭計對待他的僕人。
26
於是他差派他的僕人 摩西 ， 又派了他所揀選的 亞倫 。
27
他們執行上帝大能的作為， 在 埃及 顯了神蹟。
28
上帝使黑暗籠罩地面， 埃及 人卻不聽從他的命令。
29
他使他們 的河水都變成血， 消滅了所有的魚類。
30
他們國中遍地青蛙， 連王宮也不能免。
31
上帝一發令，蒼蠅成群飛來， 蚊蟲充塞了四境。
32
他降冰雹代替雨水， 使閃電橫掃全地。
33
他毀壞了葡萄樹和無花果樹， 推倒了境內所有的樹木。
34
他一開口，蝗蟲成群飛來， 成千上萬，無從計算。
35
牠們吃光了境內的蔬菜， 吞盡了所有的五穀。
36
他擊殺了境內每一家的長子， 殺滅了他們的頭胎。
37
然後他領 以色列 人帶金銀離去； 他們個個身強體壯。
38
他們離去的時候， 埃及 人非常高興， 因為他們害怕 以色列 人。
39
上帝用雲彩掩護他的子民， 夜間用火照亮他們。
40
他們 要求，他就使鵪鶉飛來； 他從天上降糧食餵飽他們。
41
他打開磐石，使泉水湧出； 他使乾旱的曠野水流成河。
42
因為他記得他神聖的諾言， 就是給他僕人 亞伯拉罕 的應許。
43
於是他帶領他的子民歡然離去； 他所揀選的子民都歡呼歌唱。
44
他把異族的土地賜給他們， 使他們繼承了別人的田園，
45
為要他的子民遵守他的法律， 實行他一切的誡命。 要讚美上主！
