“巴录啊，主－以色列的上帝是这样说到你的：

你曾说过，‘我有祸了！主使我痛上加痛，我因呻吟而憔悴，找不到一丝安宁。’

耶利米啊，你要告诉他，主是这样说的：我要拆毁我建造的一切，我要拔除我栽种的一切；那就是整个大地。

你，还在为自己谋求伟大的事业吗？别去费力了，因为我就要把灾难降给所有的生灵了，但我会在你去的任何地方将你的生命作为战利品赐给你。主这样宣布了。”
