julle wat in die tempel van die Here staan, in die voorhowe van die tempel van ons God!

Prys die Here, want die Here is goed, sing tot eer van sy lieflike Naam.

Die Here het Jakob vir Hom gekies, Israel as die volk wat Syne is.

Ek weet, die Here is groot, ons Here is verhewe bo al die gode.

Alles wat die Here wil, doen Hy, in die hemel en op aarde, in die see, in al die oseane.

Hy laat die wolke opkom oor die horison, Hy maak die weerligstrale vir die reën en bring die wind te voorskyn.

Hy het die eerstelinge in Egipte getref, mense sowel as diere;

Hy het oor jou, Egipte, groot en skrikwekkende dinge gebring, oor die farao en al sy amptenare;

Hy het baie nasies verslaan en magtige konings laat sneuwel:

koning Sihon van die Amoriete, koning Og van Basan, en al die konings in Kanaän.

Hy het hulle land as geskenk aan Israel gegee, as geskenk aan sy volk.
