El que habita en el escondedero del Altiſsimo, morará en la sombra del Omnipotente.

Dirá à Iehoua; Esperança mia y castillo mio: Diosmio: assegurarmehe en el.
3
Porque el te eſcapará del lazo del caçador: de la mortandad de destruyciones.
4
Con ſu ala te cubrirá, y debaxo de ſus alas estarás seguro: escudo y adarga, es ſu verdad.
5
No aurás temor de espanto nocturno: ni de saeta que buele de dia.
6
De pestilencia que ande en escuridad: ni de mortandad que destruya àl mediodia.
7
Caerán à tu lado mil, y diez mil à tu diestra: à ti no llegará.
8
Ciertamente con tus ojos mirarás; y veràs la recompensa de los impios.
9
Porque tu, ò Iehoua, eres mi eſperança: y àl Altiſsimo has pueſto por tu habitacion,
10
No ſe ordenará para ti mal: ni plaga tocará tu morada.
11
Porque à ſus Angeles mandará de ti, que te guarden en todos tus caminos.
12
En las manos te lleuaran, porque tu pie no trompieçe en piedra.
13
Sobre el leon y el basilisco pisarás; hollarás àl cachorro del leon, y àl dragon.
14
Porquanto en mi ha pueſto ſu voluntad, yo tambien lo eſcaparé: ponerlohé alto, porquanto hà conocido mi Nombre.
15
Llamarmehá, y yo le responderé: con el estaré yo en el angustia: eſcaparlohé, y glorificarlohé.
16
De lõgura de dias lo hartaré: y mostrarlehé mi salud.
