Ustedes, sedientos, vengan por agua, vengan también los que no tienen dinero. Compren grano y coman de balde, leche y vino que no cuestan nada.

¿Por qué gastan en lo que no es comida? ¿Por qué se fatigan en lo que no sacia? Escúchenme atentos y comerán bien, Saborearán manjares deliciosos;

presten atención y vengan tras de mí, escuchen y su vida progresará. Pactaré con ustedes alianza eterna, la promesa firme que hice a David.
4
Lo nombré testigo para los pueblos, soberano y preceptor de naciones.
5
Llamarás a un pueblo que no conoces, correrá a ti un pueblo que no te conoce, porque yo soy el Señor, tu Dios, el Santo de Israel, que te honra.
6
Busquen al Señor mientras es posible encontrarlo, invóquenlo mientras está cercano;
7
que el malvado abandone sus proyectos y la persona inicua sus planes; que se convierta al Señor misericordioso, a nuestro Dios, rico en perdón.
8
Mis planes no son sus planes, mi proyecto no es su proyecto —oráculo del Señor—.
9
Cuanto se alza el cielo sobre la tierra, así se alzan mis proyectos sobre los de ustedes, así superan mis planes a sus planes.
10
Como bajan la lluvia y la nieve del cielo y no vuelven sin antes empapar la tierra, preñarla de vida y hacerla germinar, para que dé simiente al que siembra y alimento al que ha de comer,
11
así será la palabra que sale de mi boca, no volverá a mí sin cumplir su cometido, sin antes hacer lo que me he propuesto: será eficaz en lo que la he mandado.
12
Saldrán con alegría, guiados en paz; montes y colinas clamarán a su paso, los árboles del campo los irán aplaudiendo.
13
En lugar de espinos crecerán cipreses, en lugar de ortigas brotarán los mirtos. Y servirá de renombre al Señor, de señal indestructible y eterna.
