Minä rakastan Herraa. Hän kuulee minua, hän kuulee hartaan pyyntöni.

Kun huudan häntä avuksi, hän kuuntelee.

Kuoleman köydet kiertyivät ympärilleni, tuonelan kauhut ahdistivat minua, minut valtasi tuska ja murhe.

Silloin minä huusin Herran nimeä: "Herra! Pelasta minut!"

Herra on oikeamielinen ja laupias, meidän Jumalamme on armollinen.
