Norwegian 2018 (Bibelen - Guds Ord Hverdagsbibelen (Hermon Forlag))
What Does This Mean?

Explained for Children
Imagine you're playing a big game of tag, and you're on a team that's not very good. But then, a really strong friend comes to help you, and suddenly, you start winning! That's kind of like what happened here: God helped Asa and his friends win the battle.
Historical Background
The Book of 2 Chronicles was likely written by an unknown author after the exile, around 400-350 BCE. It was written for the Jews returning from Babylonian captivity to remind them of God’s faithfulness and the importance of following His ways. The context here is a military victory that was seen as a sign of God’s favor.
Living It Out Today
Today, we can trust that God will help us overcome our challenges if we seek His guidance and follow His path. For example, if you're facing a tough situation at school or work, pray for help and trust that God will provide the strength and wisdom needed.
