Vi mennesker kan temme ethvert dyr, fugler, krypdyr og sjødyr, men ingen klarer å temme sin egen tunge. Den kan brukes til ustyrlig ondskap og er full av dødelig gift. Tungen kan brukes til å lovsynge Gud, vår Far, og den kan brukes til å forbanne mennesker som er skapt i Guds bilde. Ut av samme munn kommer det både velsignelse og forbannelse. Søsken, slik skal det ikke være. En vannkilde kan ikke inneholde både friskt og bittert vann. Det vokser ikke oliven på et fikentre eller fiken på en drueranke. Ingen vannkilde kan både gi saltvann og ferskvann.
