Så sier Herren: ‘Gå ned til Judakongens hus og si: Du som er konge av Juda og sitter på Davids trone, Hør Herrens Ord. Tjenerne og folket skal også høre disse ordene fra Herren: Gjør det som er rett og vær rettferdige. Befri den som blir plyndret fra undertrykkerens hånd! Dere skal ikke utnytte eller gå voldelig fram mot den fremmede, farløse eller enken. Dere skal ikke skade noen uskyldige på dette stedet. For hvis dere følger disse befalingene fra Meg, skal Davids dynasti fortsette. Det vil være konger på Davids trone i Jerusalem. Folket skal komme på vogner og på hester med tjenerne sine.
