Av Salomo. ud, overdra Dine dommer til kongen, og Din rettferdighet til kongens Sønn!

Han skal dømme Ditt folk med rettferdighet og Dine elendige med rett.

Fjellene skal bringe folket fred, og høydene skal bringe den ved rettferdighet.

Han skal frikjenne de elendige i folket, Han skal frelse den fattiges barn, og Han skal knuse undertrykkeren.

De skal frykte Deg så lenge solen skinner og månen lyser, gjennom alle slekters gang.

Lovet være Herren Gud, Israels Gud, Han som alene gjør underfulle gjerninger!

Lovet være Hans herlige navn til evig tid! Hele jorden skal fylles av Hans herlighet. Amen, ja, amen.
