ethethelela zonke izono zakho, eyelapha zonke izifo zakho,

ehlenga impilo yakho ekubhujisweni, ekwethwesa umqhele womusa lezihawu,

esuthisa umlomo wakho ngokuhle, ukuze ubutsha bakho buvuswe njengobokhozi.

I Nkosi iyabenzela ukulunga lezahlulelo bonke abacindezelweyo.
7
Yamazisa uMozisi indlela zayo, abantwana bakoIsrayeli izenzo zayo.
8
I Nkosi ilesihawu lomusa, iyaphuza ukuthukuthela, njalo ivame ububele.
9
Kayiyikuphikisana njalonjalo, kayiyikugcina intukuthelo kuze kube nininini.
10
Kayisenzelanga njengokwezono zethu, kayisiphindiselanga njengokweziphambeko zethu.
11
Ngoba njengokuphakama kwamazulu ngaphezu komhlaba, umkhulu umusa wayo kubo abayesabayo.
12
Njengobukhatshana bempumalanga kuyo intshonalanga, ngokunjalo izisusele khatshana lathi iziphambeko zethu.
13
Njengoyise ehawukela abantwana, i Nkosi iyabahawukela labo abayesabayo.
14
Ngoba iyakwazi ukubunjwa kwethu, ikhumbula ukuthi siluthuli.
15
Umuntu, insuku zakhe zinjengotshani; njengeluba leganga, ngokunjalo uyakhahlela.
16
Ngoba umoya wedlula phezu kwalo, njalo lingabikho, lendawo yalo ingabe isalazi.

Kodwa umusa we Nkosi usukela ephakadeni usiya ephakadeni phezu kwabayesabayo, lokulunga kwayo kuze kube sebantwaneni babantwana,

kubo abagcina isivumelwano sayo, lakubo abakhumbula imithetho yayo ukuyenza.
