Khumbula, Nkosi, uDavida, izinhlupheko zakhe zonke,

Qotho, kangiyikungena ethenteni lendlu yami, qotho, kangiyikwenyukela ecansini lombheda wami;

qotho, kangiyikunika amehlo ami ubuthongo, ukuwozela ezinkopheni zami,

ngize ngiyitholele i Nkosi indawo, indawo zokuhlala uSomandla kaJakobe.

Khangela, sakuzwa eEfratha, sakuthola emasimini egusu.

Sizangena ezindlini zayo zokuhlala, sikhonze esenabelweni senyawo zayo.

Sukuma, Nkosi, uye ekuphumuleni kwakho, wena lomtshokotsho wamandla akho!

Abapristi bakho kabembeswe ukulunga, labangcwele bakho bathabe kakhulu.

Ngenxa yenceku yakho uDavida ungafulathelisi ubuso bogcotshiweyo wakho.

I Nkosi yafunga nge qiniso kuDavida, kayiyikubuyela emuva kilo: O wesithelo sesizalo sakho ngiza m beka esihlalweni sakho sobukhosi.

Uba abantwana bakho begcina isivumelwano sami lezifakazelo zami engizabafundisa zona, labantwana babo bazahlala esihlalweni sakho sobukhosi kuze kube nini lanini.
