Como tens aconselhado o que não tem sabedoria! Como tens revelado o verdadeiro conhecimento em toda sua plenitude!

Para quem proferiste palavras? E de quem é o espírito que saiu de ti?

Os mortos tremem debaixo das águas com os que ali habitam.

O Sheol está nu perante Deus, e o Abadom não está encoberto.

Ele estende o norte sobre o vazio; suspende a terra sobre o nada.

Retém as águas em suas densas nuvens, e as nuvens não se rompem debaixo delas.

Encobre a face do seu trono, e estende a sua nuvem sobre ele.
10
Marcou um limite circular sobre a superfície das águas, onde a luz e as trevas se confinam.

As colunas do céu tremem; assustam-se com a sua ameaça.
12
Com o seu poder fez sossegar o mar; com o seu entendimento abateu o monstro Raabe.

Com seu sopro clareou o céu; sua mão feriu a serpente veloz.

Essas coisas são os seus atos mais simples. Como é leve o sussurro que ouvimos dele! Mas quem poderá entender o trovão do seu poder?
