Bendize, minha alma, a Jeová, e tudo o que há em mim, bendiga o seu santo nome.

Bendize, minha alma, a Jeová e não te esqueças de nenhum dos seus benefícios.
3
É ele quem perdoa todas as tuas iniquidades; quem sara todas as tuas enfermidades;
4
quem da cova redime a tua vida; que te cerca de benignidade e de ternas misericórdias;
5
quem farta de bens a tua boca, de sorte que a tua mocidade se renova como a águia.
6
Jeová executa atos de justiça e juízos para todos os que estão oprimidos.
7
Manifestou os seus caminhos a Moisés os seus feitos, aos filhos de Israel.
8
Jeová é misericordioso e compassivo, tardio em se irar e de muita benignidade.
9
Não contenderá perpetuamente, nem para sempre reterá a sua ira.
10
Não nos há tratado segundo os nossos pecados, nem nos tem recompensado segundo as nossas iniquidades.
11
Pois como o céu é elevado acima da terra, tão grande é a sua benignidade para com os que o temem.
12
Quanto dista o Oriente do Ocidente, tanto tem ele apartado de nós as nossas transgressões.
13
Bem como um pai se compadece de seus filhos, assim Jeová se compadece dos que o temem.
14
Pois ele conhece a nossa estrutura, lembra-se de que somos pó.
15
Quanto ao homem, os seus dias são como relva; qual a flor do campo, assim ele floresce.
16
Pois, passando por ela o vento, desaparece, e o seu lugar não o conhecerá mais.
17
Mas a benignidade de Jeová é desde a eternidade até a eternidade sobre os que o temem, e a sua justiça, sobre os filhos dos filhos,
18
para com aqueles que guardam a sua aliança e para com os que se lembram dos seus preceitos para os cumprirem.
19
Jeová estabeleceu nos céus o seu trono, e o seu reino domina sobre tudo.
20
Bendizei a Jeová, vós, seus anjos; vós, poderosos em força, que executais o seu mandado, obedecendo à voz da sua palavra.
21
Bendizei a Jeová, vós, todas as suas hostes; vós, ministros seus, que executais o seu beneplácito.
22
Bendizei a Jeová, vós, todas as suas obras, em todos os lugares do seu domínio. Bendize, minha alma, a Jeová.
