„Ce bine l-ai ajutat pe cel care nu (mai) are forță! Felicitări pentru că ai susținut mâna celui slab!

Cât de bune sunt sfaturile tale pe care le-ai dat celui care nu are înțelepciune! Câtă capacitate de înțelegere i-ai demonstrat!

Cine este, de fapt, autorul acestor cuvinte? Al cui spirit a vorbit prin gura ta?

Cei de pe teritoriul umbrelor, tremură. Aceia stau sub ape și sub locuitorii lor.

Locuința morților este goală înaintea lui Dumnezeu; iar locul unde sunt cei distruși, nu este acoperit.

El desface Nordul peste acel gol și atârnă pământul pe nimic.

Dumnezeu leagă apele în nori groși; și ei nu se rup de greutatea lor!

El acoperă fața tronului Său, punându-Și norii peste el.

Dumnezeu a decis și existența unei zone-limită deasupra apelor, la marginea dintre lumină și întuneric.

Stâlpii cerului se clatină și se sperie atunci când El (le) face vreun reproș.

Prin forța de care dispune, Dumnezeu a liniștit marea; și a știut să îl anihileze pe Rahab.

Suflarea Lui înseninează cerul. Mâna Lui penetrează șarpele care fuge.

Acestea sunt doar cele mai nesemnificative aspecte ale modului în care acționează El; și prin intermediul lor ne face să auzim numai o mică adiere. Dar cine poate înțelege tunetul forței Sale?”
