旷野和干旱之地将充满喜乐，沙漠里也将喜乐长在，鲜花盛开，象常春花在怒放，

到处繁花如锦，到处都在欢呼歌唱。要赋予它们黎巴嫩森林的壮丽，迦密山的富饶，沙仑平原的肥美。它们将看见主的荣耀－我们上帝的威严。
3
你们要坚定软弱的手，要稳固无力的膝。
4
要告诉这些心怀畏惧的人们∶“坚强起来，不要害怕！你们的上帝就在这里！他要惩罚你们的仇敌，他要拯救你们，为你们复仇。”
5
那时，瞎子将重见光明，聋子将重新听见声音，
6
瘸子将象鹿一样欢跳，哑巴也要引吭高歌。旷野里将涌出泉水，沙漠里水流成河，
7
灼热的沙漠将变成湖泊，干旱之地将变成水乡。昔日野狗盘踞的地方必将长出青青的芦苇和蒲草，
8
那里必有一条称为“神圣之路”的大道，它是专为虔诚的人准备的，不洁净的人和愚昧的人不能在上面行走。
9
那里没有狮子，没有猛兽，只有上帝的赎民走在这路上。
10
这些蒙主解救的人要归回，他们要唱着歌进入锡安；幸福和喜乐将永远伴随着他们，再也没有忧愁和悲伤。
