且七位神使有七瓶者之一來與我講、語我曰、來此我示爾以大娼坐多水上之審斷。
2
同之地之各王已行姦、又居地之人以其姦之酒被使醉。
3
故其帶我以魂往曠野、而我看見一婦坐紅色的獸上、身滿以妄稱神之名、並有七首、十角。
4
其且婦飾穿以紫、以紅色、又飾以金、以寶玉、以珍珠、又在手有金杯滿以厥可恨姦之污。
5
其額上有名寫云、奧密大 巴比倫 各娼之母、並地上可惡之事也。
6
又我見其婦以聖輩之血、並以 耶穌 至死施証者之血、而飲醉、我見之即以大奇而奇之。
7
且神使語我曰、爾因何奇之、我示爾知其婦、與帶之有七首十角之獸之隱密意。
8
爾所見之獸、先在而今無、又將起出無底之坑、及往于沉淪。又居地未有名錄在生命之册從世之初者、將奇既見昔在今無並猶在之獸。
9
在此有智之心、其七首乃七山、婦所坐上者
10
又有七王、五個已崩、一個在其別的未曾來。又來時止暫時而在。
11
其昔在而今無之獸、乃為第八而屬其七者、其又往沉淪。
12
爾所見之十角乃十個王未曾受國、惟同獸一時受權。
13
此等意見乃同一而付自力與獸。
14
此等將攻獸其羔、又羔將勝伊等、蓋其為主之主、及王之王、又從之者乃被召者、選者、忠者也。
15
其又語我曰、爾看見娼坐上之水為各民者、眾者、各國、各音者也。
16
又爾見獸上之十角者將恨其娼、使其為孤壞為裸又將吃其肉及以火燒之。
17
蓋神使伊等心上欲成厥旨、致使伊等相和、交付伊等之國與獸、待神之言得驗矣、
18
又爾所見之婦彼大邑施得王管在地諸王之上也。
