主有言諭我曰、

人子、葡萄樹較諸他樹、有何長乎、葡萄樹枝、在林之諸樹中、有何勝乎、
3
可取其木為材以備工用乎、可取以作釘懸什物乎、
4
人投之於火為薪、火焚兩端、其中亦燬、焉能適於用哉、
5
其木尚全、猶難適於用、既火焚見燬之後、豈非更不適於用乎、
6
主天主如是云、葡萄樹在林之諸樹中、我使之見投於火為薪、我使 耶路撒冷 居民亦若是、
7
我向之震怒、既出一火、復入一火、我向之震怒時、爾曹則知我乃主、
8
斯民大行不法 不法或作悖逆 之事、故我必使其地荒蕪、此乃主天主所言、
