De Salomón. Oh Dios, confía tus juicios al rey, tu justicia al hijo del monarca.
2
Él juzgará a tu pueblo con justicia, a los humildes con rectitud.
3
De los montes llegará al pueblo la paz, de las colinas la justicia.
4
Hará justicia a los humildes, salvará a los oprimidos, aplastará al explotador.
5
Que dure tanto como el sol, tanto como la luna, generación tras generación.
6
Que descienda como la lluvia sobre la hierba, como aguacero que empapa la tierra.
7
Que en sus días florezca la justicia y abunde la paz mientras dure la luna.
8
Que domine de mar a mar, desde el gran río al confín de la tierra.
9
Que se postren ante él las tribus del desierto, que muerdan el polvo sus enemigos.
10
Que los reyes de Tarsis y las islas le traigan obsequios, que los reyes de Sabá y de Sebá le ofrezcan presentes.
11
¡Que todos los reyes se inclinen ante él, que todas las naciones lo sirvan!
12
Pues él salvará al desvalido que clama, al humilde a quien nadie ayuda;
13
se apiadará del oprimido y del pobre, a los desvalidos salvará la vida;
14
los librará del engaño y la violencia porque estima mucho sus vidas.
15
Que viva y reciba el oro de Sabá, que oren siempre por él, que sin cesar se le bendiga.
16
Que haya grano abundante en la tierra, que la mies ondee en la cima de los montes, que sus frutos florezcan como el Líbano, sus gavillas como la hierba del campo.
17
Que su fama dure por siempre, que perdure por siempre bajo el sol; que en su nombre se bendiga, que todas las naciones lo elogien.
18
Bendito sea Dios, el Señor, el Dios de Israel, el único que hace prodigios;
19
bendito sea su glorioso nombre por siempre, que llene su gloria la tierra entera. ¡Amén, amén!
20
