Ten piedad, oh Dios, que me acosa la gente, me ataca todo el día y me atormenta;
2
todo el día me acosan mis adversarios, me ataca con arrogancia una multitud.
3
Cuando tengo miedo, en ti confío;
4
y si en Dios, cuya palabra alabo, he puesto sin temor mi confianza, ¿qué podrá hacerme el mortal?
5
Todo el día contrarían mis palabras, cuanto piensan es para hacerme daño;
6
ellos están al acecho, me observan, vigilan mis pasos buscando mi muerte.
7
¿Escaparán impunes ante tanta maldad? Oh Dios, abate a los pueblos con furia.
8
Tú que tienes presente mi vida errante, recoge mis lágrimas en tu odre; ¿no está todo esto en tu libro?
9
Retrocederán mis enemigos el día en que yo te invoque. Yo sé que Dios está conmigo,
10
el Dios cuya palabra alabo, el Señor cuya palabra ensalzo.
11
En Dios confío y no tengo miedo, ¿qué podrá hacerme el ser humano?
12
Debo, oh Dios, cumplir lo prometido: te ofreceré un sacrificio de alabanza
13
porque tú me has librado de la muerte, tú has librado mis pies de la caída para que camine ante Dios a la luz de la vida.
