Bože, ne šuti! Ne budi nijem i ne miruj, Bože!

Jer evo, tvoji neprijatelji bjesne; oholo dižu glavu tvoji mrzitelji.
4
Protiv tvoga naroda kuju zavjere; dogovaraju se protiv tvojih štićenika.
5
Govore: “Dođite! Istrijebimo ih kao narod, nek nitko više ne spominje ime Izrćl!”
6
Jednodušno se tako savjetovaše i savez protiv tebe sklopiše:
7
Šatori Edoma i Jišmćla, Moaba i Hagare,
8
Gebala, Amona i Amaleka, Filistejci sa stanovnicima Tira.
9
čak i Asirija im se pridruži; dadoše ruku Lotovim sinovima.
10
Učini im kao Midjancima, kao Siseri, kao Jabinu na potoku Kišonu!
11
Oni su bili uništeni kod En-Dora, postadoše gnojivo zemlji.
12
Učini im plemiće njihove kao Oreba i Zeba, sve njihove knezove kao Zebaha i Salmuna,
13
koji govorahu: “Prisvojimo poljane Božje!”
14
Bože moj, učini ih da budu k'o grumečak u vihoru, kao pljeva pred vjetrom!
15
Kao oganj što proždire šumu, kao plamen što zapaljuje gore:
16
tako ih progoni olujom svojom, zastraši ih svojim vihorom.
17
Sramotom pokrij njihovo lice da traže tvoje ime, Gospode:
18
Neka se stide i srame dovijeka, neka se smetu i izginu!
19
Nek spoznaju da si ti kome je ime “Gospod”, da si samo ti Svevišnji nad svom zemljom.
