Koji stanuje u zaštiti Višnjega, koji boravi u sjeni Svemogućega,
2
reći će Gospodu: “Utočište moje i Zaklone moj, Bože moj, u kojega se uzdam!”
3
Jer on će te sačuvati od zamke ptičarske, od smrtnog pomora.
4
Svojim perjem će te pokriti, pod krilima svojim će te sakriti; štit i oklop bit će ti njegova vjernost.
5
Ne ćeš se bojati strašila noći, niti strijele što leti danju.
6
Ni kuge što tumara po tmini, ni pošasti što hara o podne.
7
I padne li uza te tisuću i deset tisuća s desne tvoje, tebi se ne će približiti.
8
Samo ako budeš gledao svojim očima, vidjet ćeš plaću grešnika.
9
”Da, ti si moje utočište, Gospode!” Svevišnjega si uzeo sebi za utočište.
10
Ne će te stići nesreća, nevolja se ne će približiti tvojemu šatoru.
11
Jer je svojim anđelima zapovjedio za tebe da te čuvaju na svim tvojim stazama.
12
Nosit će te na svojim rukama, da se ne spotakne o kamen tvoja noga.
13
Gazit ćeš lava i ljuticu, zgazit ćeš lavića i zmaja.
14
”Spasit ću ga jer se uhvatio za me! Štitit ću ga jer poznaje ime moje.
15
Zazvat će me i ja ću ga uslišiti, uz njega ću biti u nevolji, izbavit ću ga i proslaviti.
16
Zasitit ću ga danima mnogim, pokazat ću mu svoje spasenje.”
