(3) Efraim, Benjámin és Manassé előtt serkentsd fel hősi erődet; és jövel a mi megtartásunkra!

(4) Oh Isten, állíts helyre bennünket; és világosítsd meg arcodat, hogy megtartassunk.

(5) Uram, Cebaót Isten; mily soká füstöltél néped imádságára:

(6) adtál nekik könnyel kenyeret; és italt mértékkel könnyek között:

(7) tettél ki minket szomszédaink versengésének; és nevettek ki maguk közt ellenségeink?!

(8) Oh Cebaót Isten, állíts helyre bennünket; és világosítsd meg arcodat, hogy megtartassunk.

(9) Egy szőlőtőt telepítettél ki Egyiptomból; nemzeteket űztél el, és azt elültetted:

(10) takarítást végeztél előtte, és az gyökeret vert; és gyökereivel betöltötte az országot.

(11) Hegyeket borított el árnyéka; és vesszei Isten cédrusait:

(12) a tengerig nyújtotta ki ágait; és a folyamhoz hajtásait.

(13) Miért törted le kerítéseit; hogy tépje azt minden útonjáró:

(14) túrja fel azt az erdei disznó; és legelje minden, ami a mezőn mozog?

(15) Cebaót Isten, oh térj vissza, tekints le az égből és lásd; és látogasd meg ezt a szőlőtőt!

(16) És az ültetvényt, melyet jobbod ültetett; és a hajtást, melyet megerősítettél magadnak.

(17) Mely ég a tűzben elvagdalva; arcod dorgálásából vesznek el:

(18) legyen a kezed jobbod népén; az ember-hajtáson, melyet megerősítettél magadnak.

(19) És nem fogunk tőled hátratérni; támassz életre minket, és segítségül hívjuk nevedet.

(20) Uram, Cebaót Isten, állíts helyre bennünket; világosítsd meg arcodat, hogy megtartassunk.
