Quel giorno sette donne afferreranno un solo uomo e gli diranno: "Penseremo da noi al cibo e ai vestiti, ti supplichiamo prendici in moglie, ma toglici la vergogna di restare zitelle".

Un giorno quel che il Signore farà germogliare sarà motivo di orgoglio e di fierezza per i superstiti d' Israele; quel che la terra produrrà darà loro prestigio e gloria.

Chi sarà scelto da Dio in Gerusalemme avrà salva la vita e sarà chiamato santo.
4
Con la sua potenza il Signore giudicherà e purificherà la sua città, laverà le colpe degli abitanti di Gerusalemme e il sangue che vi è stato versato.
5
Allora, sul monte Sion, e su tutti coloro che lassù saranno radunati, il Signore invierà di giorno una nube di fumo e di notte, un bagliore di fuoco. Il Signore stesso sarà presente e proteggerà l' intera città.
6
Egli sarà riparo dal caldo e protezione dalla pioggia e dalla tempesta.
