Salmo di Davide. O Eterno io t’invoco; affrettati a rispondermi. Porgi orecchio alla mia voce quando grido a te.

La mia preghiera sia davanti a te come l’incenso, l’elevazione delle mie mani come il sacrificio della sera.
3
O Eterno, poni una guardia davanti alla mia bocca, guarda l’uscio delle mie labbra.
4
Non inclinare il mio cuore ad alcuna cosa malvagia, per commettere azioni malvagie con i malfattori; e fa’ che io non mangi delle loro delizie.
5
Mi percuota pure il giusto, sarà un favore; mi riprenda pure, sarà come olio sul capo; il mio capo non lo rifiuterà; anzi, malgrado la loro malvagità, continuerò a pregare.
6
I loro giudici saranno precipitati per il fianco delle rocce, e si darà ascolto alle mie parole, perché sono piacevoli.
7
Come quando si ara e si rompe la terra, le nostre ossa sono sparse all’ingresso del soggiorno dei morti.
8
Poiché a te sono rivolti gli occhi miei, o Eterno, o Signore; in te mi rifugio, non abbandonare l’anima mia.
9
Salvami dal laccio che mi hanno teso e dalle insidie dei malfattori.
10
Cadano gli empi nelle loro stesse reti, mentre io passerò oltre.
