Salmo di lode. Di Davide. Io ti esalterò, o mio Dio, mio Re, e benedirò il tuo nome in eterno.

Ogni giorno ti benedirò e loderò il tuo nome per sempre.
3
L’Eterno è grande e degno di somma lode, e la sua grandezza non si può investigare.
4
Un’età dirà all’altra le lodi delle tue opere, e farà conoscere le tue gesta.
5
Io mediterò sul glorioso splendore della tua maestà e sulle tue opere meravigliose.
6
Gli uomini diranno la potenza dei tuoi atti tremendi, e io racconterò la tua grandezza.
7
Essi proclameranno il ricordo della tua gran bontà, e canteranno con gioia la tua giustizia.
8
L’Eterno è misericordioso e pieno di compassione, lento all’ira e di gran bontà.
9
L’Eterno è buono verso tutti, e le sue compassioni si estendono a tutte le sue opere.
10
Tutte le tue opere ti celebreranno, o Eterno, e i tuoi fedeli ti benediranno.
11
Diranno la gloria del tuo regno, e narreranno la tua potenza
12
per far conoscere ai figli degli uomini le tue prodezze e la gloria della maestà del tuo regno.
13
Il tuo regno è un regno eterno, e la tua signoria dura per ogni età.
14
L’Eterno sostiene tutti quelli che cadono e rialza tutti quelli che sono depressi.
15
Gli occhi di tutti sono rivolti a te, e tu dai loro il loro cibo a suo tempo.
16
Tu apri la tua mano e soddisfi il desiderio di tutto ciò che vive.
17
L’Eterno è giusto in tutte le sue vie e benigno in tutte le sue opere.
18
L’Eterno è vicino a tutti quelli che lo invocano, a tutti quelli che lo invocano in verità.
19
Egli adempie il desiderio di quelli che lo temono, ode il loro grido e li salva.
20
L’Eterno protegge tutti quelli che l’amano, ma distruggerà tutti gli empi.
21
La mia bocca proclamerà la lode dell’Eterno, e ogni carne benedirà il suo nome santo per sempre.
