Pabusk, pabusk; apsivilk savo stiprybe, o Sione; apsirenk savo gražiais drabužiais, o Jeruzale, šventasis mieste; nes nuo šiol daugiau nebeįeis į tave neapipjaustytas ir nešvarus.

Nusikratyk dulkes; kelkis ir atsisėsk, o Jeruzale; atsirišk nuo kaklo pančius, o belaisve Siono dukra.

Nes taip sako VIEŠPATS: „Jūs pardavėte save už nieką; ir būsite atpirkti be pinigų“.

Nes taip sako Viešpats DIEVAS: „Seniau mano tauta buvo nuėjusi žemyn į Egiptą ten laikinai apsigyventi; ir asiras be priežasties juos engė.
5
Taigi dabar, ką aš čia turiu, – sako VIEŠPATS, – kad mano tauta paimta už nieką? Ją valdantys priverčia ją kaukti, – sako VIEŠPATS, – ir nuolatos, kiekvieną dieną, piktžodžiaujama mano vardui.
6
Todėl mano tauta pažins mano vardą; todėl tą dieną jie žinos, kad aš esu tas, kuris kalba: ‘Štai tai aš’.
7
Kokios gražios kalnuose kojos to, kuris neša gerą žinią, kuris skelbia taiką; kuris neša gerą žinią apie gera, kuris skelbia išgelbėjimą; kuris sako Sionui: „Tavo Dievas karaliauja!“
8
Tavo sargybiniai pakels balsą; drauge jie balsu giedos; nes jie matys akis į akį, kai VIEŠPATS sugrąžins Sioną.
9
Pratrūkite džiaugsmu, giedokite drauge, jūs, Jeruzalės griuvėsiai; nes VIEŠPATS paguodė savo tautą, jis atpirko Jeruzalę.
10
VIEŠPATS apnuogino savo šventąją ranką visų tautų akyse; ir visi žemės pakraščiai matys mūsų Dievo išgelbėjimą.
11
Traukitės, traukitės, išeikite iš ten, nelieskite to, kas nešvaru; išeikite iš jo tarpo; būkite švarūs, jūs, kurie nešate VIEŠPATIES indus.
12
Nes jūs neišeisite skubėdami ir neisite bėgdami; nes pirma jūsų eis VIEŠPATS; ir Izraelio Dievas bus jūsų užnugaris.

Štai mano tarnas elgsis protingai, jis bus išaukštintas, liaupsinamas ir labai aukštas.

Kaip daugelis buvo apstulbinti tavęs; jo veidas buvo sudarkytas labiau už bet kokį žmogų, ir jo pavidalas – labiau už žmonių sūnus;
15
taip jis apšlakstys daugelį tautų; karaliai užčiaups prieš jį savo burnas; nes apie ką jiems nebuvo pasakota, jie pamatys; ir ko nebuvo girdėję, jie apgalvos“.
