Maestrului de cor. Cântare. Psalm. Strigați de bucurie lui Dumnezeu, voi, toți [locuitorii] pământului!

Cântați gloria numelui său, dați-i glorie prin laudele voastre!
3
Spuneți-i lui Dumnezeu: „Cât de minunate sunt lucrările tale!”! Pentru mărimea puterii tale, toți dușmanii tăi te vor adula.
4
Tot pământul să te adore și să-ți cânte ție, să cânte numelui tău!
5
Veniți și priviți lucrările lui Dumnezeu! Minunate sunt faptele sale înaintea fiilor oamenilor.
6
El a prefăcut marea în pământ uscat; și râul a fost trecut cu piciorul: de aceea, acolo ne-am bucurat în el.
7
El stăpânește pe veci cu puterea sa, ochii lui sunt îndreptați asupra națiunilor, pentru ca cei supuși să nu se înalțe.
8
Binecuvântați, popoare, pe Dumnezeul nostru, faceți să răsune glasul laudei sale!
9
El aduce sufletele noastre la viață și nu îngăduie să ni se clatine piciorul.
10
Căci tu ne-ai încercat, Dumnezeule, ne-ai pus la probă în foc, cum se probează argintul.
11
Ne-ai lăsat să cădem în cursă, ne-ai pus o povară în spate.
12
Ai lăsat oameni să încalece peste capetele noastre, ne-ai făcut să trecem prin foc și prin apă, dar apoi ne-ai făcut să ieșim la refugiu.
13
Voi intra în casa ta cu arderi de tot; îmi voi împlini voturile față de tine,
14
cele pe care le-au rostit buzele mele și le-am spus cu gura mea când eram în strâmtorare.
15
Îți voi aduce jertfe grase de ardere de tot, cu aromă de berbeci, îți voi jertfi boi și țapi.
16
Toți cei care vă temeți de Dumnezeu, veniți și ascultați și vă voi spune tot ce a făcut Domnul pentru sufletul meu!
17
Am strigat către el cu gura mea și buzele mele au început să-l preamărească!
18
Dacă s-ar fi văzut nelegiuire în inima mea, Domnul nu m-ar fi ascultat.
19
Dar Dumnezeu m-a ascultat, a luat aminte la glasul rugăciunii mele.
20
Binecuvântat să fie Dumnezeu care nu respinge rugăciunea mea și [nu îndepărtează] de la mine îndurarea lui!
