Zbav ma hriechu yzopom a budem čistý, umy ma a budem belší ako sneh!

Daj mi počuť slová radosti a potešenia, nech zajasajú kosti, čo si zdrvil.

Zakry si tvár pred mojimi hriechmi a zotri všetky moje viny!

Vráť mi radosť z tvojej spásy a podopri ma duchom poslušnosti!

Chcem učiť neverných tvojim cestám, aby sa hriešnici obrátili k tebe.

Vytrhni ma z viny krviprelievania, Bože, Boh mojej spásy, nech zaplesá môj jazyk nad tvojou spravodlivosťou!

Pane, otvor mi pery a moje ústa budú ohlasovať tvoju chválu.

Veď nemáš záľubu v obete a keby som priniesol spaľovanú obetu, nepáčila by sa ti.

Skrúšený duch, to je obeta Bohu; skrúšeným a zdrveným srdcom nepohŕdaš, Bože.

Svojou priazňou preukáž dobro Sionu, vybuduj múry Jeruzalema!

Potom si obľúbiš náležité obety, spaľované obety a celostné obety. Vtedy budú obetovať býčky na tvojom oltári.
