Zbormajstrovi. Dávidov žalm. Pieseň.

Boh povstane a jeho nepriatelia sa rozpŕchnu, zutekajú pred ním tí, čo ho nenávidia.

Ako býva odviaty dym, tak ich rozoženieš; ako sa pri ohni rozpúšťa vosk, tak zahynú bezbožní pred Bohom.
4
Spravodliví sa však tešia a jasajú, pred Bohom radostne plesajú.

Spievajte Bohu, ospevujte jeho meno, upravte cestu tomu, ktorý sa nesie na oblakoch! Plesajte pred ním, lebo jeho meno je Hospodin!

Otcom sirôt a obhajcom vdov je Boh vo svojom svätom príbytku.
7
Boh pripravuje domov osamelým, väzňov privádza k blahobytu, ale odbojníci zostanú vo vyprahnutom kraji.

Bože, keď si šiel na čele svojho ľudu, keď si kráčal pustatinou,

Zvestujte Božiu moc! Jeho vznešenosť je nad Izraelom, jeho moc je v oblakoch.
