Mjeshtrit të korit. Psalm i Davidit.

Qiejt shpallin lavdinë e Perëndisë, kubeja qiellore kumton veprën e duarve të tij.
3
Dita i çon fjalë ditës, nata i bën me dije natës.
4
Nuk bëzajnë, nuk nxjerrin fjalë, as që u dëgjohet zëri.
5
Por, jehona e tyre përhapet në tërë dheun dhe fjalët e tyre deri në skajet e botës. Atje i ka bërë një tendë diellit,
6
ai është si dhëndri kur del prej dhomës, si trimi që ngazëllon kur merr hov.
7
Lind në njërin skaj të qiellit e deri në tjetrin rrotullohet, nxehtësisë së tij s'i fshihet askush.
8
I përsosur është ligji i Zotit, shpirtin përtërin, e vërtetë dëshmia e Zotit, të thjeshtit i jep urti.
9
Porositë e Zotit janë të drejta, zemrën e gëzojnë, urdhërimet e Zotit janë të pastra, syve u japin dritë.
10
E pastër është droja e Zotit, mbetet në amshim, të vërteta janë gjykimet e Zotit, të gjitha të drejta.
11
Më të dëshirueshme janë se ari, se ari i kulluar mirë, më të ëmbla se mjalti, se mjalti që rrjedh nga hojet.
12
Prej tyre mëson edhe shërbëtori yt, kush i zbaton merr shpërblim të madh.
13
Kush mund t'i kuptojë fajet? Prej fajeve të fshehta pastromë.
14
Ruaje shërbëtorin tënd edhe nga mëkatet me dashje, që të mos sundojnë mbi mua. Atëherë do të jem i patëmetë, i pastruar krejt prej mëkatit të rëndë.

Të pëlqefshin fjalët e gojës sime dhe përsiatjet e zemrës sime, o Zot, shkëmbi e shpëtimtari im.
