Inte oss, HERRE, inte oss utan ditt namn ska du ge ära, för din nåds och din sannings skull.

Varför ska hednafolken få säga: "Var är deras Gud?"

Vår Gud är i himlen, han gör allt han vill.

Men deras avgudar är silver och guld, verk av människohänder.
5
De har mun men kan inte tala, ögon men kan inte se.
6
De har öron men kan inte höra, näsa men kan inte lukta,
7
händer men kan inte känna, fötter men kan inte gå. I sin strupe har de inget ljud.
8
De som har gjort dem blir som de, likaså alla som litar till dem.

Israel, lita på HERREN! Han är deras hjälp och sköld.

Arons hus, lita på HERREN! Han är deras hjälp och sköld.

Ni som vördar HERREN, lita på HERREN! Han är deras hjälp och sköld.

HERREN tänker på oss, han välsignar — han välsignar Israels hus, han välsignar Arons hus,

han välsignar dem som vördar HERREN, både små och stora.

HERREN ska föröka er, er och era barn.
15
Ni är välsignade av HERREN som har gjort himmel och jord.
16
Himlen är HERRENS himmel, och jorden har han gett åt människors barn.

De döda prisar inte HERREN, ingen som gått ner i det tysta.

Men vi, vi lovar HERREN från nu och till evig tid. Halleluja!
