Allt vad HERREN vill, det gör han i himlen och på jorden, i haven och i alla djup.

Han låter moln stiga vid jordens ände, han sänder blixtar med regn och skickar ut vinden från sina förråd.

Han slog de förstfödda i Egypten, både människor och boskap.

Han sände tecken och under mitt i dig, Egypten, mot farao och alla hans tjänare.

Han slog många folk och dödade mäktiga kungar —

HERRE, ditt namn består för evigt, HERRE, ditt rykte från släkte till släkte,

Hednafolkens avgudar är silver och guld, verk av människohand.

De har mun men kan inte tala, ögon men kan inte se,

öron men kan inte höra. Ingen ande finns i deras mun.

De som har gjort dem blir som de, likaså alla som litar till dem.

Israels hus, lova HERREN! Arons hus, lova HERREN!

Levis hus, lova HERREN! Ni som vördar HERREN, lova HERREN!

Lovad är HERREN från Sion, han som bor i Jerusalem. Halleluja!
