(Kwa Mwimbishaji: Zaburi Ya Daudi) Ee BWANA, niokoe, kutoka kwa watu waovu; nilinde na watu wenye jeuri,

Wenye kiburi wameficha mtego wa kuninasa, wametandaza kamba za wavu wao, wametega mitego kwenye njia yangu.

Ee BWANA, ninakuambia, “Wewe ni Mungu wangu.” Ee BWANA, usikie kilio changu na kunihurumia.

Ee BWANA Mwenyezi, Mwokozi wangu mwenye nguvu, unikingaye kichwa changu siku ya vita:

Ee BWANA, usiwape waovu matakwa yao, usiache mipango yao ikafanikiwa, wasije wakajisifu.
9
Vichwa vya wanaonizunguka na vifunikwe na shida zinazosababishwa na midomo yao.
10
Makaa ya mawe ya moto na yawaangukie! Na watupwe motoni, katika mashimo ya matope, wasiinuke tena kamwe.
11
Wasingiziaji na wasifanikiwe katika nchi; maafa na yawawinde watu wenye jeuri.
12
Najua kwamba BWANA huwapatia maskini haki, na kuitegemeza njia ya mhitaji.
13
Hakika wenye haki watalisifu jina lako, na waadilifu wataishi mbele zako.
