Umhobe kaDavide. Yehova, yiva umthandazo wam, kubekele indlebe ukutarhuzisa kwam; Ndiphendule ngokunyaniseka kwakho, ngobulungisa bakho.

Musa ukumsa ematyaleni umkhonzi wakho: Ngokuba phambi kwakho akukho namnye uhleliyo olilungisa.

Ngokuba utshaba luwusukele umphefumlo wam, Lubutyumzele emhlabeni ubomi bam; Lundihlalise ezindaweni ezimnyama, njengabafe ngonaphakade.

Utyhafile phakathi kwam umoya wam; Imangalisiwe phakathi kwam intliziyo yam.

Ndikhumbula imihla yamandulo; Ndicamngca ngemisebenzi yakho yonke, Ndicamngca ngesenzo sezandla zakho.

Ndizolulela kuwe izandla zam, Umphefumlo wam ukungxamele njengelizwe elibharhileyo. (Phakamisani.)

Khawuleza undiphendule, Yehova; uyaphela umoya wam. Musa ukubusithelisa kum ubuso bakho, Ndifane nabahla baye emhadini.

Ndivise kwakusasa inceba yakho, Ngokuba ndikholose ngawe.Ndazise indlela endiya kuhamba ngayo: Ngokuba ndiwuphakamisela kuwe umphefumlo wam.

Ndihlangule ezintshabeni zam, Yehova. Ndizimela ngawe.

Ndifundise ukwenza ikholo lakho, ngokuba unguThixo wam.UMoya wakho olungileyo makandikhaphele ezweni elisithabazi.

Ngenxa yegama lakho, Yehova, ndiphilise; Wukhuphe embandezelweni umphefumlo wam ngobulungisa bakho.

Ngenceba yakho zibhangise iintshaba zam, Ubatshabalalise bonke abawubandezelayo umphefumlo wam, Ngokuba ndingumkhonzi wakho.
